Healing Roots Foundation is governed by an independent, volunteer Board of Directors responsible for setting strategic direction, approving governance policies, overseeing financial stewardship, and ensuring the Foundation operates exclusively in furtherance of its charitable purposes. Financial Accountability

Healing Roots Foundation maintains its own bank accounts, financial records, and budgets, independent of any other organization. All expenditures are approved through Board oversight and used exclusively to further our charitable purposes.

Charitable Status

Healing Roots Foundation is a registered Canadian not-for-profit corporation. Our application for registration as a charity under the Income Tax Act is currently under review by the Canada Revenue Agency. We will update this page once a decision has been made.
