Healing Roots Foundation provides stigma-free education, family support, and recovery navigation for individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health challenges in New Brunswick. Our first Families in Recovery workshop took place August 8, 2026, with 20 families in attendance, and we continue to grow new programs, fundraising events, and community offerings throughout the year.
Our Programs
Healing Roots Foundation delivers five charitable programs designed to reduce barriers to recovery and support families and communities across New Brunswick. All of our programs are free of charge, developed and delivered by licensed professionals on a volunteer basis, and grounded in evidence-based, factual content. Our programs are social and educational in nature and do not provide medical or clinical treatment.
Recovery Navigation & Resource Support
Helping individuals find and access the right recovery services, regardless of where they are in their journey.
Families in Recovery Program
Free workshops and resources that help families understand addiction, set healthy boundaries, and support a loved one without losing themselves in the process.
Community Education & Public Awareness
Public workshops and presentations that reduce stigma and improve community understanding of addiction and recovery.
Recovery Support Bursary Program
Financial assistance to help offset the cost of recovery-related services for individuals facing financial barriers.
Community Outreach & Prevention Initiatives
Early-intervention and prevention-focused outreach within the community.
